Commercial & residentialAuckland-wide

From single-level residential roofs to large commercial buildings — we specify and install the right membrane system for each project.

What we do

Roof membrane systems for long-term protection

A flat or low-slope roof has no margin for error. Water will always find the weakest point — a poorly lapped joint, an unsealed penetration, or a drainage outlet that doesn't drain.

We install proven membrane systems and treat every penetration and detail as a primary concern — because that's where most roofs fail.

Why it matters

What makes a roof waterproofing system perform

01

Correct system specification

TPO, torch-on and butynol each perform differently under UV, thermal cycling and foot traffic. The right choice depends on your roof's geometry, substrate and exposure.

02

Penetrations and flashings

Pipes, vents and edges are where flat roofs fail. We treat every penetration as a priority — not an afterthought at the end of the job.

03

Drainage that works

Even a good membrane fails if water sits on it. Falls, outlets and overflow design are part of every roof we waterproof — not an optional extra.

How it works

From assessment to installed system

01

Roof assessment

We inspect the roof surface, existing membrane condition, drainage and all penetrations before recommending anything.

02

System specification

We recommend the correct membrane for your roof — with reasoning. You'll know what we're installing and why.

03

Preparation

Old membrane removed if required, substrate prepared, drainage outlets cleared. We don't apply membrane over compromised surfaces.

04

Installation

Membrane applied, penetrations sealed, flashings completed and drainage confirmed. Full sign-off before we leave.

FAQ

Roof waterproofing questions

Torch-on and TPO systems typically last 20–30 years when correctly installed on a prepared substrate. Butynol systems can last similarly with proper installation. Annual checks after heavy Auckland storms are recommended.

It depends on the condition and type of existing membrane. In some cases, a new system can be installed over the existing one — in others, removal is necessary to ensure adhesion and longevity. We assess this at the site visit.

Yes. Most residential roof waterproofing is done while the property is occupied. We work around your schedule and ensure the property is protected at the end of each day.

Yes — we work on commercial roofs across Auckland including apartment buildings, retail premises and industrial facilities. We're familiar with commercial construction programmes and can work to deadlines.
